I did a brake flush, coolant flush, power steering flush, replaced spark plugs, replaced PCV valve, replace serpentine belt, re-balanced the stock wheels and tires, replaced air filter, and replaced cabin filter. Now need to replace rear pads and rotors.
Did you make sure it didnt have spiders in the gas tank?? Mazda 6 in my eyes will always be revamped Asian Ford Fusions. Even has the slant eyes. (I can say that because I'm Asian) You guys can't you damn ROUND EYES!!!
I don't think thats a evap purge solenoid. The evap is right next to the throttle body. I believe that might be the electronic valve control solenoid for the front motor mount. Part number for that valve is 50913-SDA-A01. Its number 20. As you can see, there are 2 vacuum lines going into that solenoid. One from the intake to the solenoid, the other is from the solenoid to a metal pipe which then is routed to the front of the engine. Which then has a vacuum line from the end of the metal pipe to the front motor mount. I hope this helps you.
Did you use Honda ATF DW1? Also, the trans fluid is due every 30k. Another note is to replace the filter. No one ever replaces, and even Honda/Acura doesn't recommend it. Its an easy fix on the V6 trans. Maybe try changing the fluid and filter. Remember you need to do the trans drain and refill 3 times. This way it cycles all the old fluid out and new fluid in. Make sure after refilling the fluid that you go through each gear with about 5 seconds intervals. Mainly P R N D. 1st and 2nd aren't necessary.
This may or may not remedy the problem, but it doesn't hurt to try. As Z said, 90% of Honda V6 auto trans do not last long.
3x tranny flush and K&N air filter on the RDX today. Also washed my filter. Will oil and re-install tomorrow. I did attempt to replace my shifter cable bushings with the Torque Solutions ones but I gave up trying to get the old ones out.
Did you replace the filter as well? Replacing the filter helps out a lot when doing the 3x tranny service.
When you replace the brake light switch, sometimes you need it to be reprogrammed to get that TCS to stay off. I had the same issue, and Honda charged me $50 to reprogram it. Those Rat Bastards.
