It's a world wide pandemic my friend, people get stupid and forget how to drive when the weather isn't absolutely perfect. I helped push a newer Porsche up the street yesterday , why he's driving his Porsche in the winter...in a place that still uses salt on the roads I have no clue. Best part he had no snow tires on...and I seen him later that day, his car was being pulled onto a flatbed because I'm guessing he lost control, spun out and hit a pole. People are dumb LoL!

I dislike driving in these conditions for those very reasons... If I were alone on the road it wouldn't be that bad!

Half of the time people don't know how to drive in perfect weather. Bad weather just makes the other half forget too.

I like empty parking lots filled with snow.

One of the few reasons I like snow. The cops around here hate it though. They sit in all of the empty parking lots when it snows.

Of course Mustang doesn't drift well in snow it can't get any traction. Nice half day from work today. I guess it's my gift from my boss for working though inventory systems issues, and getting paid for 40 hours when I've already worked more than that.

Work visas are a viable option if you two can find a place or line of work up here (there are a number of fields) that would hire you up here...but most of them are for skilled or specialized positions

Then you would want Quebec or New Brunswick, here is a website you should read into if your planning on heading north
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp

Also Nova Scotia won the bid for building new war ships for Canada's Navy, that's starting up in the next couple of years and it's guaranteed work for the next 5-10 years. So good money there and of course there is always good money to be made in the oil fields in Alberta (Guys in the laborers union just general laborer make $60k-70k a year) and since it's on camp your board, food and flights (if you live elsewhere) are paid for.
