Well that was fucked up! So I'm driving back to work from lunch coming up to an intersection the light is green so I'm driving through in the left lane. Traffic is steadily going through, when these high school kids run out of a corner store right on the street and start running through on my right (there are crossing signals at this intersection and they don't have the go ahead light for them) one of them almost runs into the back of my car, I lay on the horn and they flip me off and one actually threw something (and missed) as I was driving away. I'm like WTF! Then all the sudden these sirens come on behind me, I pull over to let him by, be pulls behind me WTF! Cop gets out comes over and was going to write me a ticket for not observing the pedestrians in the crosswalk, I'm like are you serious they ran out not even looking I was under the speedlimit and still couldn't have stopped in time and they threw something at my car, just then I notice there is a car pulled over behind the cop and that guy is walking up to my car where the cop is talking to me. I'm like great! Now what? Turns out it's his superior officer, who's off duty and he saw the whole thing, he tells the cop giving me the ticket to rip it up and go after the kids for jaywalking and trying to vandalize my car, in his own words "if your so ticket hungry" lol.! Cop rips up the ticket spins the car around and goes the direction the kids went, the other guy said I was lucky he was there and that the guy giving me the ticket is an ass, and that the kids were in the wrong he then suggests to me, to either put my regular bulbs back in, or retrofit some projectors so I don't blind people at night with my HIDs or get a ticket for it. LoL! I was kind of amazed that he actually stopped to help me and that he actually knew about projectors and wouldn't ticket me if I had them aha ya and he was like 50 lol

Surprised he said anything about the lights.  I've never been told anything about my lights.  I've had my non-retro 8000k HIDs for just about as long as Ive had the car...

Ya I'm not overly surprised they have been pulling people over for it lately, mostly trucks because they are like right at eye level and so bright you think they got like 30 HID bulbs in the housing :p

That's pretty cool. Why can't all cops be like that? I am pretty lucky though, most of the cops around here are pretty nice.

Yeah, I cant complain about cops because I've only gotten 3 tickets since i was 16 and... I deserved them all. lol

-61 in a 35 (jr lic, lost my license for three months after only havin it for three months)
-45 in a 25 (honestly didnt know it was a 25 and NO ONE goes 25 on it)
-88 in a 65 (highway)

I've only got one since I was 16 (10 years ago) it was well deserved  150km/h in a 110km/h (highway) zone :p my excuse "I was just passing someone" was met by "you mean those THREE cars?" LoL! $340 later I'm more careful about my "road play" LoL!

Well thats a tell tale sign of a drunk driver... lol.  No but seriously, my friends uncle got a DUI and they made him take these classes.  The cop teachin the class told them that one of the things they look for is if both people have their hands out the window and are movin their hands around (like playin with the wind), then they are probably drunk driving... seriously? wtf! lol  So that means I was drunk drivin with my dad when I was 10... lol
