I've been thinking about electrical engineering myself. It is a good field and I need to declare a major pretty soon.

Dropped off a couple resumes when I was off due to my surgery to test the waters see what's out there job wise, working two jobs suck start at 8am finish at 12am was killing me :p got an interview tomorrow with the local Honda dealership as an apprentice mechanic if I get the job it means a big pay increase and also means I have to go register to take the block 2 and 3 exams :p I have enough hours just never had the time to take them

I think you may be underestimating the book shit of electrical engineering.. real world use vs. the theory behind it are two completely different ball games..

it's a tough major, I've been through it.. but I believe you could do it, just be prepared to put in a lot of time..

some real world experience will help, and its satisfying learning the theory behind what you've been doing! it's a really good major, so I wish you luck!

I talked to my aunt the other day, shes the Director of Finance for Ballys (I think) in Vegas. I told her about my plans to do the MBA thing and she was hesitant. She said it really wouldn't help me out much right now and that I should hold off, as hard as that may be. She said the main thing they are lookin for with an MBA is exp to apply it too.. of which I have none, I've been at the bank a year and my job really has NOTHING to do with the finance end of things... glad I talked to her. Oh and I found out what the bank will contribute per year is enough to cover ONE semester (two classes totalling 6 credits), so maybe I will hold off... for a better job that I like and will cover more! Cheesy

I danced on a bar the one time at the place I do karaoke, it was funny as hell because the drop ceilin is low, so I was all bent over like an old person... and don't worry, my gf was up there with me Wink
