That was my brother.  I fucking swear.  Some people just don't know how to reply to text messages.  I'm not texting any more of the crazy shit I see during the day from now on.

It's kindof weird.. One of my friends is able to do that as well.  First time it happened, I didn't realize some phones allow a reply all to text messages..

I know I might get in trouble for this, bc I'm talking about cell phones over here, but, my iPhone has the option of replying to group messages or the single person. After the last debacle I made sure to turn that option off.

For the record, the Cell Phone Discussion thread was created because a lot of people kept posting technical stuff in here about cell phones.  They kept doing it, so it seemed appropriate that the topic get it's own thread.  Usually, when a topic keeps recurring in here, it's a sign that it needs it's own thread so people that actually want to get actual information have a place to go.

I'm out of a car for at least 3 weeks and the rental they gave me reeks of cigarettes. Went this morning to exchange it and they didn't have any cars. This blows.

nelson whod you get it from? if its avis or budget  you can call the 1800 # and say you need a new car because of this. tell them youve  freebreezed and nothing, and say that ______ location is outta Cars  and you would like another location to pick up from.

and im 99% you can do this with other national rental place. just the 1800#. cause when i worked for avis we'd get this shit all the time.

I didn't have my car for over a month when I had to get it repaired.  The shop that did the work sucked though.  They quoted me 2 weeks and it took 5.  The rental place kept hounding me for the car back and I just told 'em to S the D since I wasn't paying for shit.  I made sure the insurance company for the girl that hit me paid for everything.  I beat the shit out of that rental car too.

I'm pretty sure thats Rule #1 when buying a new car... I'm also pretty sure that what Tim said is Rule #1 when it comes to a rental car... (that its perfectly fine to beat the shit out of a rental car... theyre not real cars... just sayin)

I know people that have done worse than I have.  A guy I know was pissed about getting fucked around by the other person's insurance company, so he just pulled the hand brake and dragged the ass of his rental down a 5 mile stretch.
