I'm alive and kicking mutha fuckers! toes wiggling, and up and walking. artifical disc is in, and doc is very happy with how surgery went...me on the other hand, im strugglin...thank god for opiates!

hahaha, thanks Jer! im going to be out of commission for 6-8 weeks...I'll have plenty of time for lots of stufff, as long as it doesn't require twisting, bending, lifting, kneeling, pulling pushing, etc.
its pretty crazy what they did...they went in through my abs to get to the disc that they cut out, then stuck the artifical one in. pretty intense stuff, 7hours I was under!

awww shucks, thanks fellers!
I should post pic of my incision, its like 6 inches...they had to move all my insides out of the way to get back to my spine. did I say already that Iam about 1/2" taller? my bad disc was so decompressed that they actually had to pread the vertabrae apart to fit in the artificial disc. so I netted about half an inch taller (well back to my original height at least)!

I think the news makes people more nervous about shit than the actual storm. If you have your ass covered (aka insurance) you got nothing to worry about
