So I'm use to getting about 6 hours of sleep a night. Last night I decided I was gonna be a good little guy and go to bed early. I slept ten hours, and now feel like complete shit...

Generally when I try to do this I wake up 4 hours early and can't get back to sleep. I really find that your better off doing what your used to. Also I've read some really cool shit on sleep cycles that say your body will feel better if you sleep in 3 hour intervals. 3,6, or 9 hours.

I've actually heard 90 minute intervals.

How do you sleep in 3 hour cycles?

I planned to be well rested for work today and the middle of the week things start to pick up and be more busy at work. Well, I just got the most awesome phone call. My boss called and was telling me how there is no car for me to drive so I could either come to work and sit on my ass for 4 hours, or I could come in and work evening shit(not gonna happen), or I could come in at 3 and burn half a day, or lastly I could just go ahead and take the day off... I will let you guys figure out which option I chose to be more suitable.

Intervals, not cycles.  As in, supposedly sleeping for 3, 6, 9, 12, etc hours is better for you than sleeping 4, 5, 7, 8, etc hours.

Thanks Ryan. Also Marc I wouldn't be surprised if the study has been amended I read it like 10 years ago. 1.5 being a derivative of 3 the results are still relative I’ve never actually tried it although it might be worthwhile.
