I am in the business of currency.  (I work at a bank) Back office stuff.  Basically sit at a desk all day,  get the majority of my days work done around noon, and then pretend to work until 5, which usually means Im on here, DA, V6P, or TST. haha

Big Country, I need your help. I have decided to take up fishing... I'm not real sure why haha but I need a rod, reel, etc. Any suggestions? I think I will be mainly salt water fishing. I will be doing some off shore fishing but I don't really want anything heavy duty until I have decided that I really like fishing and we have our boat. Nobody in my family really fishes nor do my friends, but the more time I spend at the beach and the prospect of having an offshore capable boat by this summer makes me really want to start. It seems relaxing haha. Anyone else feel free to chime in I just know Mike fishes a lot.

Well bill, I don't really know anything about salt water fishing to be honest. I mostly bass fish. My good friend at the ford dealer has a good friend that owns s deep sea fishing guide service. I will have him get me some info to pass along to you.

Bill, buy a 7'6" shakesphere ugly stick, medium action (it says it on the rod, right above the top grip), tried and true for many a year...penn reels used to be really good, and made in the US.  any "good" reel is going to be in a case.  if you have a cabellas or bass pro shop around you, they will have a ton of greatr stuff.  and walmart is always a good spot for fishin sruff.

My FL trip was a nightmare!  what a fucking messs...aside from the BS though it was nice to be away.  wife and I figured out it has been 3 years since we've been away alone!

love the beer comments, especially the noob one

I was drinking Lienenkeugals "summer shandy" in florida...it's brewed with lemonade, and is fucking awesome!
