So I've been in Vegas since Monday. Tonight my cousin got a room in the MGM Grande for his sister, her friends and my bro and his girl... not knowing its on the 38th floor which just happens to be an Upper Penthouse.  Place is fuckin amazing! Worst part ia... my girlfriends and i's flight leaves at 1 am... FML! But amazing week none the less.

great day.  went over to our new building with management to plan out my area (no one else on the team has been allowed over yet).  When asked what I would need in my new office, I explained my case, and was ultimately ignored.  When asked if down the road there would be a second person in the position with me, I was told "potentially" which means no.  The new office is going to create about 10-15 times more work for me as they are moving responsibilities away from processors and on to me. It's going to be a 3 year lease, so I know that management isn't planning on giving me any help for at least the next 3 years.  And again, when asking for approval on a quote for a new type of supply that would make things more confidential, I was told no.  I dont get it.  You ask for my input considering I'm the ONLY one doing this job, and you ignore it.  fucking brilliant managment right there.  I fucking quit.

Edit: oh, and I forgot to mention, I hit my year mark 2 weeks ago.  I had my review, in which I "exceded expectations", and have been waiting to have the second portion of my review that determines my compensation increase ever since.

Hopefully you at least get a raise for all the hard work you've done.  If not, then start looking for something else.  I'd leave a job like that.  If you're the only guy doing the job, and they treat you like shit, then they're fucking themselves.  Eventually, you're going to get to the point where you've either had enough, or you find a better job (which is what I'd be doing if I were in your shoes), and then when you leave, they have nobody to do your job.  Then what?

I don't have facebook either.  I just think that it's another one of those things that would take me away from the real world.  It's bad enough I spend so much time on here, online, and texting as it is.
