It is not that I "feel" I need a discount. I just severely dislike the fact that they are a restaurant derived from the job of public safety workers yet it takes the untimely death for them to even express gratitude to the men and women who serve them.
I have never been the guy that asks for a discount and does not get offended when a discount is not given to me. i always express my gratitude when given a discount but I never ask for it

It is basically using the terminology of the firefighter. their signature sandwich is the "hook and ladder" which is the common reference to a tiller truck which is a tow piece ladder truck that is driven from the front and the rear, they decorate their stores ith firefighter gear and throw in a little police gear as well
