A good friend of mine has his kid's name tattooed on his wrist.  He said if anything, he can cover it up with a watch.

Seems like it would be kind of small, and would hurt like a bitch. I was thinking their first and middle names.

I am somewhat against tattoos on visible parts of the arms. to me it is just too unprofessional when you have to work a decent job to make a living

well up until this past summer, people with tattoos on their arms in my job were forced to wear long sleeves even in summer. The new chief changed that in attempts to boost morale. But it still does change the appearance enough to make a difference with the way people look at you and respect you
