I had to get a ride into work this morning there is no way my car was making it here. There was literally a 5 foot bank at the end of my driveway.

They closed things down today at work. I'm glad I work in a different area of the company. I'm actually able to stay home and take an office day. I'm surprised that my car isn't buried. Here's what I see when I look out my window.

That's alot of snow Tim!
I've been eyeing craigslist for an old café racer style bike - 70's something CB750. I'm getting an itch to mod my car but it's just so damn expensive, don't even get me started on anything Mugen related. Anyways, I think this would be fun and I'll spend less on the purchase + fixing up of the bike than I would on a hardtop. Any of ya'll into the old bikes?

I'd love a bike, but I don't trust anyone else on the road. I'd get a bike to work on and admire, but I'd just be too afraid to ride it.
On a less car related note. Did you guys know that Vanilla Ice has a home improvement show? When the fuck did that happen?

I'd love to get a Triumph Speed triple or a Ducati Monster, but Michelle won't let me. She says I drive like a maniac and I'm just going to get myself killed. So instead she settled on me, every now and then, modding my car.
WTF does vanilla ice know about home improvement? And how is he still alive?

Any one of those bikes would be cool. I love the sound of a Ducati. I of course will have to run this by my wife first, we've talked about it before and she's usually for whatever makes me happy. We'll see I guess. I'd like to get a newer bike but payments and insurance will rape me. I'd rather get an old one that I don't mind getting scratched up

Insurance isn't that high. Guy who sits next to me pays like $50 a month or something. Think about, if you hit something you're either dead or the bike is totaled.

Hmmm. I swear my insurance company quoted me $100 a month for a Harley. Maybe that was every 6 months.

Major difference in price is due to your geographical location. In Bama you probably have to ensure your bike all year. In NY its seasonal.
