got woken up at 10 am because some one broken into the car next to mine and threw all his clothes and paper work over my car. landlord thought i was making a mess.
dude says nothing was stolen. but all his papers are ruined by morning dew.

WOW! So, my sister just called. The diamond fell out of her graduation ring. She had been saying that it felt loose so I took it to the jewelry store that made the ring when I went back to Tupelo a couple weeks ago to have it repaired. My parents picked it up and brought it to her this weekend. The said she just looked down and it was gone. Is the jewelry store responsible? I have no clue what happens here.

If they just did the work I'd say they are responsible. Generally there is a warranty on setting repairs.

Yeah, for sure! Luckily we never got to that point. I know it's insured, but I'd rather the person at fault pay. The thing that would've sucked is that the diamond is more sentimental than anything. My Dad gave my mom a set of diamond ear rings a while ago and she split them and gave one to each daughter to make a ring out of for graduation.
