currently, i'm using the windshield mount for my phone.. i wanted to change that up..  i also need somewhere to mount my ipod..

i was thinking about getting a windshield mount for my ipod, but i think that would be too much clutter on the windshield, so i figured i'd just get some custom mounts..

i'm tempted to get a different mount for my radar detector too, lol..

What a douche.  My boss emailed me today to find out who I interviewed with for the job in Nashville.  I didn't have a chance to tell him that I applied for the same job in NC and GA, which are also managed by the same guys that interviewed me for Nashville.  When I asked him why, he said that he wanted to talk to them to get some feedback about the interview to try and help me.  I don't know why.  He has never really been helpful before.  I kinda don't trust this.

I've caught the mistakes my boss makes when he tries to do my job.  I'll admit, when you throw someone into what I do on a daily basis, you're not going to pick it up in a few minutes.  There is so much technical information, policies, and procedures I have to retain to do my job efficiently and effectively.  Anyway, I'm sure he knows how miserable I am.  Who knows, maybe I'm wrong.  He tried to get me to talk to some people in automotive.  I know I don't have a snowball's chance in hell to get a gig in automotive.  They wouldn't hire a guy in my department with an EE degree from Northeastern.  My MECP license is worthless to them.  I didn't even bother.

Anyway, my chili is cooking right now.  Chili competition is Thursday.  I have like 5 pounds of meat in this batch.  It may have a little too much heat, since I used 4 habañeros, 4 scotch bonnets, 4 fresno chiles, 4 jalapeños, and 2 anaheim chiles.  I sauteed the peppers and onions in bacon grease for a little extra "something special".  I also made my own chili powder with dried california chiles, chipotle peppers, and new mexico chiles, so that gave it a little extra kick and much more flavor.

Alec, that wouldn't be wise to say.  When you take the time to consider Z's situation, you realize how much is actually going on.  Unfortunately, if you didn't have to leave your wife and kids behind and go to the middle east, then you don't know what he is going through.

Mike, as much as I would want to work for automotive, it's not something I really want.  It means I would have to stay in MA.  I really don't want to stay here.  I am trying to stay within my company, but I will quit my job and find another place to work to move down south if it comes to it.
