Like I just said, it's not you. You can be sitting there crusing minding your own fucking business then out of nowhere some 90 yr old fuck tard runs a red light. My buddy died that way in a fucking car. On a bike you have nothing to protect you, leathers, if you even wear them. Trust me man, save your $3 grand and insurance is gonna cost you your nuts, have save up for a better car in a few years. I had a bike, trust me man, I wanted one again but people nowadays just dont give a shit man. I almost get in a wreck every fucking day driving home. Could never do that on a bike. I would die. anybody here remember Brian (blackpearlv6) or something like that.. He's paralyzed because he was ran off the road while riding his bike and hit a tree head first at 30mph..  He's lucky to be alive.. Jer's right, and as much as I would love to ride a bike, (i'll never admit this to the wifey) I will never get one for fear of that accident that is bound to happen.

I just went to Geico and got a quote. Looks like about $1600 a year for insurance. Which is doable. I'm sure I could find a lower rate somewhere. I like this one better

Fucker, the punk ass insurance company we used to have was $1600 every 6 months for my goddamn Accord. Fuck them, we're with Allstate now.

Well, I put it down as a commuter to school less than 3 miles away because I live in the dorm this year, I'll live in the fraternity house next year, then our condo is a less than a mile off campus. I also said I havent had any driving infractions in the past 5 years. My car got hit in a parking lot which didn't go on any records and I had my speeding ticket removed from my record. So, technically I have a spotless record.
