Get with the times buddy. Ford wasn't realiable in the 80's but, they have come along way toward turning that around, and are currently getting alot of reliability ratings higher than Camry and Accord.

He's right. Lately, the big 3 have realized that they aren't able to get away with making unreliable cars. Ford seems to be producing better stuff now.

The six speed transmission does have problems but they will get that fixed.

It's possible, but I hear Ford doesnt even know how to fix it yet. How long has the Fusion been in production? 4 years?

I definitely agree that they are improving and are getting much more reliable. I was just giving Mike shit, but I really would put my money on the S2000. Even if they are reliable, I still don't ever see myself driving an American car.
