Yeah, I dunno. I have an allowance that should take carenof anything. I could see me getting one for experience. Something like a bank teller might be nice.

It would definitely be a plus to get a job in the field you want to go into while you're in college.. My girlfriend is doing that and when she graduates next year, her resume is going to look outstanding will all that she's got on her plate this coming year (job, internships, RA position, psych experiments).

My advice to you, Bill, is that if you already know exactly what you want to go for, then get as much experience in that field as you can from the get go, be it a job, scholastics, projects, or assisting your professors, anything will help you out later on when you graduate.
