I've never even thought about re-financing.. wouldn't that just be an attempt to get my interest rate down?  I already have a really low rate.  and I got the loan about 2.5 years ago.

yeah mike, it is from a car dealership so it's going to be priced higher than usual.. but I just don't know if it's really worth it.. I'd lose leather, power seats, alloy wheels, sunroof (i think), disc brakes, 6-disc cd, heated seats.. for the same price I'm paying a month now.. huge downgrade in luxury items..  but it is a bit more fuel efficient, it's a sedan, and it's reliable.

It may be a slight downgrade, but I'd see if you can knock down the price a little bit too.  It is an LX after all.  

On another note, the chach at Verizon (that didn't help me yesterday) was totally wrong.  In my travels of going into the same fucking store 3 times in the past 10 days.  I never get consistent service or help.  One guy is overly helpful, while a different guy is annoyed to have to fix my problem.  It looks like BB #7 is on it's way now.  If this doesn't work, I'm going to keep replacing phones until my contract ends and I'm going to get an iPhone.  Verizon service over the years has gone down hill and gotten shittier and shittier.

Your rate might be low now but, alot of times it can get lower because now your borrowing less money. I'd look into the refinancing option, and maybe it will save you the extra money to pay for the gas. That way you could put the differance in payment into the tank, and maybe keep the ride you have now. When your dealing with a dealer it's tough if your not buying new your paying to much because they have to make money at both ends in order to stay in business. Basically they have to sell you the car you want and make money as well as make money on your trade in. The 06 LX in the northeast is selling for about 10,500 with the same milage. For 12k the milage is much lower (Like 30k) again we are in different markets but, for an LX with that mileage it sounds high.

Well, I caved and got the iPhone 4. It's pretty awesome. I have a hard time believing there is a better phone out there... The screens resolutions is so good it almost looks fake.
