We sign papers Thursday and we move in May 1st.

And I just woke up to great news! They finally sent out the emails with our shift assignments, I get released on my own tonight and I get to stay on midnights!

What would you guys do in this situation?

I live in a new development with a lot of construction going on.  The entrance to my garage is located in an alley.  The neighborhood kids (6-8 kids ranging from 10-15 years old) set up a basketball hoop in the alley directly in front of my garage due to there being construction in the part of they alley they normally set up their hoop.  Other than them getting a bit pissy about stopping their game and moving the hoop when I need to get in and out of the garage, I have no problem with it.  Well this morning when I went to work I noticed a huge basketball sized dent in my garage door.  I'm pissed and my wife is livid.  My house is less than 3 years old. 

I'm not sure what to do about it though.  I'm afraid if I tell them to GTFO from in front of my garage they will deliberately cause more damage.  These are the same neighborhood kids that threw rocks at my next door neighbor's house and knocked off their siding because she yelled at them not to walk in her yard.  Also, the alley is considered a common area so I don't know if I even have the right to make them move.  Should I just let it go and hope it doesn't happen again?  What would you do?

I'd file a police report, and take it with an estimate for repairs to their parents. And call the city public works and have their basketball goal removed from the alley. But I'm an asshole

Put one of those fake cameras on the side of your garage lol.

I killed a bug in the bathroom this morning. Normally I leave them for the cats because they love living toys but this one was flying around my head and gyrating it's tush in my face like a hood rat. Sorry. No gyrating on a Friday morning.

Put up a camera and talk to the parents of the kids. We all know kids are scared of their parents. Shit my dad would beat my ass if I did something wrong.

So a girl I went to high school with, and haven't seen or heard from in years, passed away on Easter due to complications during child birth. Very tragic. Some people made a facebook page as a memorial. Is it sad that I want to leave the group?
