Yeah it was a fucked up situation. Hopefully one of my applications will call back and I'll be out of comcast soon.
I miss my govt job... And drinking heavily. Kinda cool, I got to go out drinking with my little brother tonight

join the devil of all cable companies... Hopefully giving them your soul wasn't a part of your contract.
Good luck finding a new job though. I'm hoping that the hiring freeze at Mitsubishi is over by the time I graduate so that I can be upgraded from lowly intern to engineer, haha.

This. I keep seeing all these horror stories on Reddit about Comcast, the latest being that they refused to refund an invalid charge on a customers account and then flat out telling him the only reason they are returning it was because he recorded the calls. I personally haven't had any problems with them... guess I've just been lucky.

Yeah our customer service sucks. The call centers in our region got massive bonuses this quarter because of their "first call resolution". But they booked the technicians, tried to make us work mandatory overtime, and won't force our dispatcher to do his job. A lot of it too is that EVERYONE hates calling and being routed to a call center overseas. That's one of the biggest gripes I hear every day
