Does anyone have a contact at the IRS...?
My wife and I are in process of buying a house, and apparently the IRS doesn't have a copy of one of our 2012 W2's. Which means our mortgage can't be approved, which means we lose the house.
We have 16 days before settlement on the house, and if we don't get her W2 processed ASAP, we'll probably be screwed.

Brian, find an IRS office near you and get it settled on the spot rather than mailing it in. You'll burn a day but its better than losing the house.

Thought about doing that, but even if we have the W2 to refile, it won't get processed timely. It would have to run through their "system" before it made it on to her record. That's why I'm looking for a direct contact on the inside who may be able to expedite the process for us.

Started my morning off shitty. We are tryin to sell a day bed on craigslist and had a lady offer us an extra $30 to deliver it for her. Not far, next town over. So we take it over this mornin and she doesn't answer her phone (which we can hear ringing) or come to the door... so we told if she wants it now she can come get. Or ill deliver it to her again for $200. The original price was $50. Fuckin bitch.
