One of my reasons for leaving Miami decided to copy me on an email requesting technical assistance on something I dealt with over a year ago. We'll call this douchebag, "the ginger" (he is and I apologize in advance Ryan). The guy has absolutely no technical knowledge with regards to his MOS which happens to be my MOS. Anyway, I replied to him to not copy me on those types of emails and that a reply to the email I send him was completely unnecessary. The guy decides to reply but he copies both my old supervisors along with my current LT "apologizing for wasting my time and his". Basically, he made me look like a complete dick for not wanting to help him with something I troubleshot and shared with the rest of the shop over a year ago. Apparently, he forgot about that and decided to pull what he did. I've got half a mind to go back to Miami and beat him into the hospital.

It wasn't via email that the solution was shared. There's another system in place that records these things. Plus, I and the other techs that discovered it, shared it in a group pow wow. I still can't believe that tool thought I was going to help him after the bullshit I went through with him and the higher ups at that shit hole. As far as I'm concerned, that soulless fuckwad and the others above him can go die in a fire.

I agree. I would have just let the first request e-mail go to the intentional "Oops, I forgot to respond to that e-mail" bucket.
