Here's the schedule courtesy of Walter Reed Naval Medical:
Wednesday - PreOp
Thursday - Surgery
Friday - 1 day follow up
Saturday and Sunday - Kick it at hotel aka sleep, drink and take pain meds
Monday - Three day follow up (I know the numbers don't add up) then go home
I'm going to be in Bethesda the entire time and the "hotel" is on the base directly across from the optical surgery department. My car won't be moving until Monday.

Had I not watched the videos, I'd probably be just fine. Also, from what I've been reading about the particular surgery I want (waveform Lasik aka custom Lasik), its a fairly quick recovery and hopefully I'll be able to sleep for the few hours where I should be feeling pain. I normally heal pretty quick so I'm expecting to be walking around later Thursday night post op without eye patches. Its immediately after surgery where I'm blind and hurting that concerns me.
