Well, in two weeks, I'll be shooting lasers out of my eyes. Or is it that they're going to shoot lasers into my eyes? I forget but either way, its going to be fucking cool.

@Z- GL with the eye lasers!!
My bro had Lasik. Said you're awake the whole time, with the proper anesthesia of course. They cut, lift the outer layer of the eye like a flap, laser and then return the "flap". Eye then needs to heal. Google/YouTube a video. If you can watch it there, you should have no problems.

Awww you made the same mistake I did. I watched a live surgery the day of mine and I almost walked out right there.
It doesn't hurt but it is very creepy and uncomfortable. When they pull the flap over you go temp blind for a little while and that was kinda scary. My mom almost passed out watching it. For some reason they use a glass-walled room for the surgery so families can watch. They also had a TV with a close-up of my eye for her to watch everything up close. Kinda weird...
