So I took the practice test and evaluated  that maybe I should study more and reschedule.

If you feel like you're unprepared, I would go ahead and do that unless there's no penalty for failing the test and there's no charge.  Then I would take it just to get a feel for the real thing as opposed to the practice tests.

I've taken tests. Designed by this company before and know how they work. I rescheduled it. I still really hope I hear from my department.

Can today be over with? Seriously! Started my morning by a phone call from personnel who informs me I have to reapply for police officer because my application was deleted(a-fucking-gain!) get to work and there's a shooting so day shift is tied up on that all day leaving the workload on everyone else. Our being busy carried over into evening shift when they put out an officer down call. One of our officers was shot(in the leg, he is gonna be ok). Went into overtime because at 6:30(I leave at 7) our public information officer was in a wreck on his way to the officer shot scene(driving emergency/lights/siren). While I'm working on this report that has to be PERFECT, the gf starts bitching to me about her day and how she wants to go out for a drink and me to dd for her. I drop my plans to go to the gym to cater to her. She gets way too drunk and I had to carry her to the car and then take care of her while she hugged the toilet and got acquainted with it before finally getting her in bed. Fuck, I'm exhausted

Today isn't starting out too great either, it's never good when you awake to an email from the city attorney. Especially when he is asking incriminating questions in regards to the officer I worked a wreck for yesterday.

Well it's hard to actually tell. There is a law on the books that you are required to yield to emergency vehicles. But where he was at, there was two stopped travel lanes and two stopped turning lanes between him and the other vehicle as they both approached the intersection. He was in the opposing lane of travel, but had his emergency equipment activated. She said she could hear his siren but couldn't see him. Plus, unless state law changed, his car is not properly lit. TN state law says emergency lights on a vehicle should be visible 360 degrees around the vehicle. His isn't.
