Awake for surgery is a deal breaker for me...i'd rather buy studious glasses...
So this is hilarious..my work mailed out a pension packet to all the employees across the nation..and the phone number at the top off the page is wrong ..it's for an adult hotline! Hahaha! Oops!

Just found out my grandparents were put into a home after the fact. I swear, whenever something positive happens, something else comes along to fuck it up.

I'm not mad because they were put into a home. I knew it was coming. It would've been nice if I was given a fucking heads up. All I got was an email after it was done thanking my two brothers for helping move them.
Oh yeah. I texted those two shit heads for answers three hours ago. Still no response.

My grandmother (92) has been in a home for a few years now..it's not the same. Luckily she has an awesome room mate and they take care of each other...i'm sorry Z
I hate seeing my grandmother in a home, she misses her house...
I don't want to steal thunder..but I got a text a half hour ago saying she fell and broke her hip, she's having surgery tomorrow. I hope she pulls through, but her healing time is going to be slower being 92

I have a feeling my grandmother is about to move in with us. She is getting to where she cannot drive, or handle routine tasks on her own. We constantly had to go unlock her house because she locked her purse and house keys inside yet had her truck keys. I fixed that problem by putting her keys in the same ring. Mom never would do that.

They did the surgery in a glass walled operating room and whoever you brought with you was allowed to watch it from outside. They also displayed a closeup of my face on a monitor outside the room so that they could watch the action up close.
Needless to say my Mom passed out not 10 minutes into the surgery.
