Man, internship fair this Thursday, shit is about to get real. I'm sort of nervous about it, but I think my competition isn't going to be as skillful as I'm thinking. I went to a resume workshop last week, and all of the employers were actually surprised that I have some experience with machine work. Who would have thought that knowing how to use a milling machine, center lathe, etc. would be beneficial to my mechanical engineering degree?
There was this one girl at the workshop who was a mechanical engineer, but she hasn't even taken a single engineering course yet. She had no experience with anything whatsoever. But she had her AA! At least it was nice to get a glimpse of what my competition will be like.

So it's like a job fair, but for internships instead? ooh good luck, I don't think you'll have any problems.. well I assume not, because I see a ton of machine work and engineering jobs in my endless search...

Ithink I have a problem. I randomly buy crap when I cant sleep. I just ordered some ammo, Hoping it will be here by this weekend. I dont buy random useless crap, and I usually buy things I find the cheapest(I abuse amazon Employee discount). None the less, When I cant sleep, I spend money. A few weeks ago, I couldnt sleep, so I bought some snap caps to protect my gun when doing dry firing drills. I will actually need those in a different caliber when I have the ability to buy the gun I need to be able to compete.

she said I have all the qualifications, she's concerned it would be a lateral change. It may be, but I would be proud to be there, and I can't say that now...I told her I was interested, hopefully she'll pick me
