Oh boy! I used to say the same thing but, I got to sit on the sideline when the New England Revolution played some team from Europe. Soccer at that level is fairly physical. I'd rather get tackled than kicked in the shins!

It was a pretty physical game he got hurt at. There weren't any alternates that day so he played the whole game. He has no idea what he did. He's had a ton of cortizone shots, nothing works...I used to play soccer too...

My mother had a similar issue. Her vertebrae were constricting the spinal cord. I guess the hole in your vertebrae are supposed to be the diameter of a half dollar. Hers were about the diameter of a pinky finger. That and bone spurs were causing cysts on her spinal cord, which gave her back and leg pain. It was a pretty major surgery and lasted 9 hours, but she has been recovering over the past 2 years.

Back pains are the worst. When I threw my back out a couple years ago it was the worst pain I've ever felt. I wasn't even able to get out of bed to piss without help. Even pain killers don't help a whole lot. I wouldn't wish a back/spine injury on my worst enemy.
