I was reading about that the other day. The leap year thing makes sense. I think people are freaking out over nothing. A lot of the people on that show take it way too far. It's not a bad idea to have some stuff stocked up like food and water but some of that shit is ridiculous. Ammo prices are going up too so it wouldn't hurt to stock up for those of you who shoot.

The doomsday preppers are not waiting for the 12/21/12 date, they're just preparing as a whole. Most of them prepare for the dumbest shit and are missing a lot of things needed but just the message of the show as a whole.... Little by little, theres shit going to happen and that's been happening in places that it has never happended before.

i.e. New York just these past few weeks. You think it's going to stop there? I hope at least a few handeful look at the bigger picture of this last storm and realize damn, look at how ruthless it can get. Not even minding the destroying of property but the aftermath... No power.. No gas.. No food. Most people, of course, are going to be like ehh, it won't happen again and wipe their shoulders off ... Until a 9.0 magnitude earthquake happens, but yeah "That won't happen in New York"

So last week up here it was low 70's...and down south was 32 degrees...are we flip flopping temps?  Lol are people going to buy 2nd homes in NE for the winter? Lol strange....I just hope the movie The Happening doesn't come true D:

Girlsdad is in to that prep shit. Has the costco dehtdrated buckets of fruit,vegs, and meat. I figure what ever happens happens. Ill be ok with taking myself out before the zombies get me.
I thought it was gonna be a freezing winter in the pnw, due to the mild summer we had here but its still warm like 46. So its hard to get in to the holidays spirit.

This conversation reminds me of the song "radioactive" by Imagine Dragons. My husband and I were on a bus to NY when the first "rapture" happened. We were like, well fuck we're still here....we must suck lol. The workings of the universe blow my mind and plague it at the same time...I try to keep my mind open to any truth. Like in Prometheus....maybe our start happened elsewhere who knows...
