I got so discouraged today guys, paid my part of the rent and had 4 dollars left in my account, and I washed my hair with dial bar soap this am...but the more I thought about it...I realized, i'm in good health, and I have most basic things, and things could always be worse. I shouldn't complain...

Trying to get ahead is hard.  I try so badly to save money and I always end up spending too much and not having anything to put away. It blows.

I have spending problems as well. I tend to never save money and I hate it. I have now actually decides to start saving the money I would have spent on drinks in a weekend. Like for instance, I probably would have spent 15 bucks on beer watching the game at bww yesterday. So I just threw 15 bucks in savings

That was my logic behind it. I mean in the past I've had nights where I've gone out and spend 75-100 bucks on dinner and a ton of drinks.

Having a woman who drinks is my downfall at times , when i go out for dinner my drinking bills comes out to more then what the food cost. Which i slowly start reducing over the pass months

that's some cheap drinks..

There was a period of time where my average night was $200 to $300 spent on drinks..  I don't go out as often now, mostly for special occasions..

I think the last time I bought a drink while we were out was a few months ago... and it was one margarita lol. I get paid on Fri, I pay electric, and cell phone, gas my car, pay student loans, and then i have 4 dollars lol.... I drink my husbands beer, he's nice enough to share with me Smiley
