Tis my only vice...im such a busy biotch these days i can't imagine getting all the stuff i do done without it lol...

I used to be really addicted to caffeine.  Coffee, energy drinks, caffeine pills; I've used a combination of those three to get me through a day before.  I was drinking caffeinated beverages for maintenance, no longer for the energy boost.

Recently, I decided to not be dependent on caffeine anymore.  I've done it before, where I've cycled on and off of caffeine.  I didn't realize how bad my addiction was until I decided not to have coffee at the hotel before going into work.  Word of advice: don't try and go cold turkey to kick a caffeine addiction when working 12 to 14 hour days while on business travel.  I had a terrible, terrible withdrawal.  I had to drink caffeine to finish the rest of the week.  When I got home, I decided to slowly decrease my caffeine intake until I was comfortable without needing any to get through my day without a withdrawal.

I have so much natural energy now that I don't need caffeine to get me through my day anymore.

Hmmm.. that sounds ideal...i've tried to cut back before and got a nasty throbbing headache! I really should tone it down...i guess there 's no point in trying to be organic/healthy and then od'ing on coffee lol

I heard there's a report somewhere about drinking 6 cups of coffee a day being healthy.  I need to dig it up.

I don't drink it.  I'm fine with water and juice during the day. Maybe a seltzer.

I'm actually pissed off over a bunch of things. May be out of a job in October. State ruled the insurance doesn't have to cover my loss.
