On another side note, CA's governor is giving me more reasons to justify why I didn't vote for him. Not only is it his second term as governor of CA, in which he failed the first time, he's decided that a way to decrease CA's $9 billion debt is to raise income tax. WTF! They need to look at how CA's social programs are structured the most, instead of blindly picking a new tax to raise and hope it helps pay the debt down. ughhh...

Ya I had a cousin in Toronto who was killed by people street racing...needless to say I don't condone it. There is having fun and driving your car in a spirited fashion, and then there is reckless street racing. Myself I keep it on the track. I do drive quickly through the country or mountain roads but never dangerously fast. I can't even count how many times fart can civics or cavaliers try to race me at stoplights in the city or highway...I just let them peel off ahead. Several have been pulled over almost immediately, because a cop was coming down a side street or hidden behind another car...I just drive by and point and laugh.

So a guy on a bike got hit by a car in Bethlehem on Monday. The two reasons I bring this up are:
Reason 1. The guy was an idiot because he was riding in the middle of the lane, it says in the video that on the bridge riders may use the entire lane, but i dont care, its common sense, your a 160 lb man and its a 3200 lb car... GTFO of its way! I ride a couple times a week and I HUG the outside of the road, sometimes cars go WAY out of the way to not hit me and I think they are being overly cautious. I dont care if it says riders have the right of way, if you mess with fire, your gonna get burned.
Reason 2. Just take a look at the hitman...

First time a bus driver does something right. That's pretty fucked up. There was something on NPR today about cyclists and riding on streets vs having a bike lane.

I can understand cyclists in the streets in cities and such but, in small towns like mine where they spent 40 some odd million dollars on a bike path that runs the lenght of the State get the fuck off the road!
