It's because my motor is built and tuned for power. In stock form its built and tuned for economy.

I just got word back from Tony at Injector Dynamics. They will be making a 1300cc injector soon, so I'm going to wait until that's available and swap to a 2.5" pulley and get a retune.

The tuner wrote on his shop's Facebook page "WOT in low gears creates violent wheel spin". Second gear breaks the tire loose almost as soon as I get on the throttle. In third gear the tires break loose at higher rpms (5000ish) and just continue to spin the rest of the way up. I am going to be hooking up a boost by gear solenoid, so I can dial in the boost levels so I have better traction. I am also going to be getting wider tires to help with grip. If that doesn't help much, I can always get the Hondata traction control.

It's all hype. People are making it out to be bigger than it really is. Either way, I'm very happy with how it all turned out. I pulled off the Jegs electric exhaust cut out and replaced it with one made by Doug's Headers and there is no more exhaust leak. Compared to before, my exhaust is very quiet when the valve is open and much much louder when it is open (no more turn down). The gate style valve of the new one seals up so much better than the butterfly valve on the old one. I'm totally in love with my car again.

He is running a tax motor and 6 sipped trans. Don't know what your running but the tax has dual crew on both intake cam and exhaust cam. Our accords only single vtec. I am betting that he has his cams cut to adjust timing to 45 degrees where as outs does not. 6 speed trans completely changes the ratios at what power you will be putting outThese things can allow him to keep pulling good numbers where as ours can't. Tim awesome numbers man!!!!! Very impressed
