its stock rbb manifold which i guess a 0405,i have stock DCLA AT on it,maybe i 'm not on correct tuning as I am running stock 08 tsx ecu in my car.will try to get flashpro to let vittune do some work.I live overseas so not sure difficulties for purchasing a 08 rbb manifold.

BTW, do you think 0708 tsxmanifold will gain obviously on low end if swapping?

Tim, i ve got jdm k24a swap done from stock 07 a8 weeks ago.I dont feel significant change daily drive. Its even a little bit worse on low end and mid range as vtec engage on 6000. I m considering to swap back 07 manifold as there is plenum under manifold for low end torque, But i m not quite sure how much I will gain on loe end and lost on high end?
4  K Series Performance / Engine and Drivetrain Performance / Re: Timmy's K24a2 swap on: March 07, 2016, 08:14:42 PM
I checked the numbers, the logic is correct, fans trigger at 199F, no over heat till now, it seems 10.5 compression ratio makes more heat then fans work frequently, will keep monitor and prepare next step.

One more question,I dont feel significant improvements on low end torque eve less than k24a8. I saw a8 intake manifold owns a plastic plenum under it,this should be for performance low end, do you have any info fir it, I even thought to swap that stock manifold to this JDM K24a to have a look.
BTW, do you replace your intake/header gasket each time you uninstall them like the service manual required?

I didnt check numbers today,No difference from gauge,I just niticed the cooling fan acts not like it being with k24a8, in past days cooling fan had few chances to be triggerred, obviously the fan is so busy today, the upper pipe is too hot to touch, the lower one feels not being cooled enough and its still very hot.
6  K Series Performance / Engine and Drivetrain Performance / Re: Timmy's K24a2 swap on: March 07, 2016, 06:44:29 AM
tim, the engine is marked as RBB-2 on engine head side.

tim,I get jdm k24a swapped to my accord with control by tsx 08 ecu today, car runs well with a small issue, the water temperature seems higher than a k24a8,the fan triggers frequently with environment temparature 4 to 10 degree, im still running stock radiator, do I need to upgrade it?
8  K Series Performance / ECU, EMS, & Tuning / Access to CAN bus and Passthru firewall on: February 29, 2016, 12:35:21 AM
Hi All

I bought a 08 tsx ecu to run a K24A2 engine on my 07 accord 2.4. The 08 tsx ecu is communicated via CAN BUS network to HONDA diagnostic devices to pair ecu and immobilizer, thus

I'm going to connect to CAN H and CAN L of body electric network to DLC connector to have this to be implemented.

I checked the CAN BUS junction connector C555 which besize passenger side airbag, the connector is really hard to access from down up by side of glove box. I've tried to disassemble the panel of passenger side airbag cover, as the airbag cable is tighten on frame, it can't be move for more space to acess C555 from top down. I don't want to  cut all of things to make one thing happen.

Dose any one know how can I access to CAN BUS network from any other locations? I know the network connects gauge, vsa and ecu together.

-----------------------------

Another question, what is the best way to pass some wires through firewall without any scratch risk? The hole location? and how's the protection approach? I don't like the way who just drill a hole and throught the wires out, I like safe/professional method.

Cheers!

Neuspeed has the instructions on their website. It's not extremely complicated to do the front, it's just difficult to get the front sway bar out. You can reuse the front sub frame bolts if you want. I've remove my sub frame a few times and used the bolts again.
Hi Tim, what is the reason to mark on subframe when uninstalling rear bracket. I saw that bracket connecting between sub frame and frame.
10  Suspension & Handling / Suspension & Chassis / Re: How To: Rear Sway Bar. on: December 28, 2015, 03:14:13 AM
Front sway bar is a motherfucker if you don't have the right tools and equipment.  If you are not comfortable with lowering the front lower sub frame, then you should pay someone else to do this for you.
Hi tim, do you have a procedure how to replace front one, that day I lift up the chassis and saw I need to lower the subframe before replacing the bar. I feel the technician is not that confident with this job. In work shop manual the instruction is splitte to 2 portions, some in 'replace subframe', the others is in how to change front sway bar, there is not an exact description of this special job. I dont think all subframe bolts need to be uninstalled as the manual stated in "replace subframe". And then, I'm not sure if marking and re-align are quite difficult or not, I checked the technicina, it seems he has no sense on this point, I need to know which bolt will be uninstalled and replaced by new ones firstly.
11  J Series Performance / Engine and Drivetrain Performance / Can tsx sfifter box assembly fit accord CM? on: November 25, 2015, 05:49:19 AM
tsx AT tranny was designed with a sport manual mode, can that shifter lever assembly fit accord CMc hassis? if yes maybe I can use a tsx ecu and shifter lever assembly to gain AT manual mode on my accord?
12  K Series Performance / ECU, EMS, & Tuning / Re: The Ktuner thread on: November 20, 2015, 05:07:19 AM
can i use a 0607 ecu with ktuner to run a k24a2 engine with good performance? as tsx ecu and other stuff are bit expensive?
13  K Series Performance / ECU, EMS, & Tuning / Re: harness for k24a2 with 6mt when swapping it into accord 07 2.4 AT on: November 18, 2015, 08:39:57 AM
The engine harnesses are not the same between the Accord and TSX. The Accord is a two piece wire harness and the TSX is a 1 piece wire harness. The real question is if you're trying to do an AT to MT swap. If you are only doing an engine swap, you can keep your existing engine harness. If you are doing an engine and transmission swap, you will probably want to swap harnesses with whatever is less expensive, but will match the transmission.
Tim, fitting tsx 1 piece harness to cm chassis is easy or not?any modification need?

Tim, from my understand accord MT 07 and TSX mt have same pinout on ABCDE connectors, the differences maybe 1 piece and 2 piece physical looking, if they have identical connectors for ecu side and sensor side, i do not have reason to order a tsx harness? Accord should be easier for installing on chassis brackets and go through firewall? Mine is AT, Im going to order k24a2 engine and 6mt, with a 07 accord manual harness and tsx 05 mt ECM for reverse lock.

Please correct me.
15  K Series Performance / ECU, EMS, & Tuning / harness for k24a2 with 6mt when swapping it into accord 07 2.4 AT on: November 17, 2015, 08:04:17 PM
For the purpose swapping k24a2 into a 2.4 AT 07 Accord,I guess 2.4MT Accord engine harness is the best for it? I think accord MT harness should be same with TSX MT as I checked workshop manual, for fitting position on chassis of these 2 harness, the one from accord should be perfectly fitting and it's cheaper as well.
Can any one correct me on this?
By the way, the only ECM I can find on ebay is 040506 TSX MT,I cant find 0708 MT ECM.So I will not have chance to run Fpro in future?
