Title: Opinions on these amps I'm eyeing
Post by: CrackerTeg on October 23, 2009, 09:26:41 PM
Audio gurus, ::cough:: Tim ::cough::, what do you guys think of these two amps I'm eyeing right now? I spotted them for cheap as hell and I'm not pushing anything crazy. I want to replace the freebie amp I have pushing my Kicker L5 and plan on upgrading the interiors so for now, the MRP-M350 will get used while the MRP-F240 will sit for a bit while I gather funds for interior speakers. Thoughts?

They're pretty good amps for the money.  I installed a set in Arie's car and they sounded pretty good.

Not the exact same amps, but the same line of amplifiers.

Well, now that I won these, I can say I picked up the pair of amps for $130 shipped. Ebay scores FTMFW!

Here's the link to the ended auction if you guys want to check it out:

Thanks man. Now I got to find me some deals on interior speakers, cook up an idea for the amp mounting to maximize trunk space, and then make a FG box for the Kicker sub.

Installed the MRP-M350 yesterday afternoon and let me tell you that its like my sub came to life. Half gain is rattling the shit out of my trunklid whereas my old freebie Alpine amp was barely filling the low end at nearluy full gain. I'm throughly happy with this purschase. Like I said before, now I gotta find some deals on interior speakers.
