Rebuilt title, automatic, and no turbo......you would be crazy to make that trade.

I'd see if he is willing to throw some cash on top of the trade. There is no way I would take that trade straight up.

Not even with cash on top.

Just from other people's comments, it's probably a shitty idea. Take some pride in your vehicle and the work you've done to it. If some fuckwad with a non-turbo at impreza offered me a straight trade, I'd
in their face.

AT to MT on a scooby is a bitch and a half. Parts are expensive as hell. Conversion to turbo will also set you back another $5K when you are done since the non turbo engine will blow ringlands as soon as you boost it, subaru builds very close to it stock spec with very little room for more power without building internals.

Yeah, I've worked on a few and it is always fun when they bring the car to me throwing oil out the tail pipe with them saying all I did was change the turbo and threw one of the downloadable cobb tunes and 6 months later, boom. Rebuilding a EJ stock is a $6K event since when you blow the ringland you destroy the cylinder wall which has NO oversizing avalible. Then to sleeve and put weisco or some other quality pison solution on is another $4k. At least hondas give a good bit of wiggle room in thier design.
