To be honest I didn't read any of the previous posts before replying to yours. I felt obliged to stand up for the sport I grew up watching, playing and loving

I do agree that it is terrible when people judge or hate on something without fully understanding it! As for cars, it's completely up to each person to do what they want... after all, it is called "customization" for a reason  Grin

Canada is not the ONLY country in the world who play and love hockey. In fact, Sweden, Finland, Russia and even some Asian countries are embracing it for it's athleticism and competition. Yes there is fighting sometimes, but if you watch, it's only in the North American version of the game run by an AMERICAN... just saying... I play it every week and I love the sport so please don't bash it unless you know something about it.

I also love watching and playing football and baseball, which are both considered "American" past-times...lol go figure.

I think everyone's stated what I was thinking when purchasing this car but here's my $.02 Cheesy
I went into it knowing that I wanted a Sedan (for when I have passengers, etc.) and I wanted some luxury features. Like Leather, sunroof, climate control... the heated seats and the fact that it was dual-zone wasn't known to me until after the purchase lol I also looked at Corolla (too small), Camry (terrible styling for same year/price range). I would never purchase a domestic vehicle or a German one due to reliability concerns so Japanese was the way to go.
as far as modding, I actually had no intention to do anything when I bought it, until I went on some forums and saw what was possible... how things change. lol

Welcome to the elite, we gotta meet up when I come up for the parade in July.

You're gonna come up to Toronto? For sure we should hang... let me know when you have details and we'll figure that out. I'm in a local Accords club too so if the timing's right you can come to one of our weekly meets.

Thanks for all the feed back guys. Problem is, in Canada we pay up the wazoo for performance parts... it's brutal. The custom intake is the only cost-effective way to do it. I've found some 3" piping that I might just buy and mod myself to make it work. The 4" is very tempting but relocating the battery, or swapping for smaller, is not something I'm thinking of doing so it looks like 3" is the largest diameter I can do.

If anyone wants to sell their intakes, let me know!

I believe he stopped making them from lack of interest.

Cry that sucks... looks like I'm back to searching for something of this quality.

welcome to elitecm Fanitron

I'm excited to get to know others who like the Gen7 Accord!  Grin

Car looks good! Welcome to ECM!

Thanks for the compliment! I'm sure I'll be seeing plenty of really nicely done Gen7's on this forum.

We have the same car, 05 NHBP Ex 5AT but mine is a 4cyl lol. Looks good. Welcome to Elitecm.

Yeah! I noticed in your Sig that your car looks identical to mine... that is until I get my V6 badge (back) this coming week. Angry Cheesy

Don't mean to revive a year old thread but I'm VERY interested in this SRI... it's exactly what I'm looking to get for my V6. Paul, are you still making these by any chance? and how much would shipping to Canada cost? Thanks!
