Does anyone know if there is a difference between the left and right axle assemblies for automatic and manual transmissions.  I've tried looking on Honda parts websites but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for.  The reason I ask is I can find several assemblies available in Canada but they are listed specifically for the automatic where the parts websites based in the states don't seem to specify a transmission.

Thanks,

Stephen

Majestic Honda shows 2 different part numbers for each side, and each transmission type. I would assume based on this information that they are different. Diagrams can be seen here.

AT Diagram

MT Diagram

AT Right = 1088897, and 1094431
AT Left = 1088900, and 1094433

MT Right = 1088898, and 1094432
MT Left = 1090954, and 1094434

This site does not use Honda part numbers*

Thanks.  That's what I needed to know.  I've found some that specify the mt now at autozone, so I ordered those..

^Good idea.  There is a difference between the MT and AT axles.  I was sold a set of AT axles (I was not told) and found out later that they do not fit an MT equipped car.

The AT was smaller than the MT.  From what Paul explained to me yesterday, I belive this only applies to the K24s.

I ended up going with raxles (raxles.com) since the ones from autozone looked really cheap and didn't come with harmonic dampers.  The raxles seem like a much higher quality product.

IIRC they were $140 each.  Not sure if they are any stronger than oem, but they are definitely better than the cheap cardone axles.
