Title: How do you strap down your sub?
Post by: thisaznboi88 on July 27, 2011, 05:17:10 PM
So I am finally getting a sub for my car. Doing it the cheap way. Single kenwood 12in woofer + box + 350 watt kenwood amp bridge for 150w RMS + LOC + wiring.

Anyways, I wanted to know how you guys strap down your box? Do you use some straps and achor it somewhere? Or do you shoot some screws and L brackets?  I dont want to drive around and have it dancing in the back.

Bungee cords and strapped against the seat. Eventually I'll come up with something better.

I got a false floor.... so my dual sub box is bolted down tight with 2 "L" brackets.  :flip:

I used L brackets as well, but just put shallow screws into the oem "false floor" or spare tire cover whatever it's called...
